PowerLine Hobbies Combo Motor deal

PowerLine Hobbies Combo Motor deal

A bunch of the local guys found a great deal on an inrunner brushless motor.
The sale was just too good of a price to pass up.

Alan has already mounted his on a Hover Disk now called RCDisk and I am soon to follow with one of my own...

Also purchased from PowerLine Hobbies is the Yak-54 Extreme which will be my next plane project

Lipo Sack

Lipo Sack

Got some new batteries recently and was doing some thinking in regard to charging them and the precautions needed to do that... Right now I am using a clay flower pot/old metal pot system. It works but not the greatest.

I have seen the Battery Bunker. That is a very nice product but I was always afraid I would drop it and it break into a lot of pieces. Well I ran across a cool product perusing one of the RC magazines. It is called the Lipo Sack. I ordered 2 and they have really been handy. Now I have my battery safety gear with me at all times.

Here is a small snippet from the Lipo Sack website.

The LipoSack is designed to mitigate the effects of a
Lithium-Polymer Battery charging mishap.
It is very portable and lightweight at ten ounces.
We have one size available which measures 9" x 12" and is recommended for up to six cells total.

They even have a replacement policy
FREE REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE

Avoid damage to the LipoSack. Replace if it becomes ripped, worn or is involved in a battery failure.
If your LipoSack is involved in a failure resulting in a venting of the battery and fire return it to LipoSack.com with a statement of the circumstances and receive a replacement LipoSack free of charge!

Check out Lipo Sacks web site here. And watch some of their videos. WOW!
