Butterfly/Lazy Days 06 - Vertical stab
Ok today its the Vertical Stab. Fits together pretty good. The big nit for me is the hinging mechanism, it utilizes the clear covering as the hinge. It is very poor. It does not allow true centered left/right defection. It sort of waggles and is very sloppy. I tentatively applied some Blenderm tape on the left side as shown in the photo to counteract some of the slop.
I really feel I should slice the rudder off and put some type of hinging in/on the vertical stab. That will be for future posts after the maiden flight...
