One of my RC buddies passed along an absolutely awesome video of this pilot who saved a plane that had 1 wing totally depart the aircraft!!! I always thought that, you can loose a prop, still glide, I have heard you can lose an engine and still glide, somewhat, but loosing a wing, your dead. Well Bill shows us all that is not true.
Here is the video of him saving his aircraft. What a masterful piece of flying. Someday I hope to be 1/10 as good. WOW!
There are lost more info on Bill's site. Was really neat to find he is a UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) pilot in Arizona. That must be a really cool job!
