Ailerons installed
The Yak comes with some very nice hinges. They swing very easily. Well in my process of installing them, I must have not been too careful and/or used to much CA and it crept into the hinge mechanism. D@MN! so I decided to use Great Planes CA Hinges 3/4"x1".
It was a real bummer not to use the provided hinges but I just did not want to take a chance on having the ailerons bind up. A good aspect that came out of this was the savings of weight. The ailerons move fairly well but not like the "free swinging barn door" they should... If this does not work out then I can always cut them and install a better free swinging hinge.
